Homework tonight is to finish the Investigation 2.2 packet. Remember, on the very last question you must extend both those tables all the way to to the point where they'd intersect (it takes a little while). 

Expect the next quiz sometime around the middle of next week. Remember, your study island assignment is due TOMORROW (Friday). I've attached the document on the right side with the directions in case you don't have it. 

Come to class tomorrow knowing your x and y intercepts pretty well. If you're in 8th period, you need to be at "Jedi Master" status with that content. 

This weekend

Once again, quiz on Investigation 1 is Monday.

Quiz moved to Monday

I think one more day of preparation would be good for the INV1 quiz that was scheduled for tomorrow so we will do an extensive in class review instead and push the test back to Monday. That review .doc is still posted below if you want to look at it tonight and come in with any questions tomorrow. Also, we have a new poll on the right hand side! Have a great day everyone.

Quiz Tomorrow

Parents and students. First major quiz is tomorrow. Today I will be in the process of uploading spare copies of all the worksheets we use in class, most importantly the review for tomorrow. Homework 9/20/11

HW is Section 1.3 ACE 6-8. I will also be checking the HW tomorrow that was assigned yesterday (Finish ACE 4). Please make sure to see me if you need any help. This is where we start to learn stuff which is going to be the basis for the majority of everything else for the rest of the year. Great day today!

Friday Homework

Your HW for the weekend is to finish whatever parts of the 1.2 packet we do not get done in class today. Week 3 is done, have a great weekend and answer the new poll questions on the right!!

Unit Analysis

If you're still struggling with unit analysis, here is a youtube video which shows a couple good examples. In the near future, I'm going to try and start posting my own videos on here so you guys can use them to reference if you get home and work on the homework (as I know you always will) and have some questions.

6th period - NONE

7th period - Unit Analysis WS #2,4,6,8

8th period - Unit Analysis WS #1-3, and 5-8

Thursday 9/8

Homework tonight is to finish the unit analysis packet (probably done in class) and to complete the worksheet with "extra practice" (10 questions with a cartoon at the top). 

You have a quiz tomorrow 9/9. First of the year, make sure you study!

Wednesday 9/7

Homework tonight is finish question 10 on practice page 1 of your packet. If you have not turned in a syllabus yet you must do so ASAP. Points are lost every day it's late. Check out the new poll question and try it out!!!
