Homework tonight is to finish investigation 4.1

Thursday

Investigation 3 exam is tomorrow. Your study island assignment #5 is due by the end of the day Friday. Make sure any unfinished tests are completed by the end of the day tomorrow. I will be running study sessions before school and at lunch time tomorrow.

Wednesday

No homework tonight unless you haven't completed your study island assignment which is due Friday.

Tuesday HW

HW tonight is 3.4 ACE, questions 18-19, and 44 for 6th period. Periods 7 and 8 do 18-19.

Monday homework

Homework tonight is to finish packet 3.4. Have a great day!

Wednesday HW

HW tonight is the 10 questions equations worksheet. You have to do 5 of them. It is your choice which questions you do.

Don't forget that you have a study island assignment due by the end of the day on Friday.

The "Monty Hall" Problem Explained

For 7th and 8th period. This is the problem that we discussed right before the bell rang. In case you've been wondering about the explanation (I know you have!), the following two videos talk about the problem. The first is the beginning of a movie called "21", which does a good job of introducing the problem. The second video explains why the answer is what we talked about in class. Enjoy your weekend!

Weekend of 10/14

Your HW for this weekend is to finish the 3.2 packet. In class, we did everything but the 4 questions on the ACE worksheet.

For HW tonight, please finish your 3.1 packet. We will start 3.2 tomorrow. Look for a quiz about the middle of next week. 

Also, your Study Island assignment is now due Sunday night for this week only. That is assignment #3, due 10/16.

Your other HW for this weekend is to have visited this site and to answer the question to the right. Please make sure to have the letter signed which I sent home with you on Friday. Enjoy the 4 day weekend. Hopefully when we see each other next we will be celebrating a Phillies victory tonight :)

Great Video

Hello out there. I found a FANTASTIC video on solving really basic equations which breaks it down step by step. I would highly recommend watching this AT LEAST ONCE. At some point in time we will watch this in class as well. While this is an example of basic equations, they will get more difficult for sure. In about 2 weeks, if you aren't understanding this content, please see me and I will help you out until it makes sense.
